Lewistown Fire-Rescue Education

Lewistown Fire Rescue (LFR) is actively involved in fire prevention education. Each October representatives from LFR participate in numerous educational opportunites in the Lewistown community.

Commercial Education
Commercial Education is overseen by Assistant Chief & Fire Marshal Mike Davis.  These duties include education on adopted fire codes and standards, building inspections, fire investigations, general fire regulations, open burning, recreational fire and bonfire permits, and knox-box information.

Public Education
Public Education is overseen by Lieutenant McKensie Gremaux.  These duties include the smoke detector program, fire prevention week, fire education program, and fire extinguisher training.

Fire Station Tours
LFR offers tours of the fire station to many young people throughout the year. Numerous community groups are introduced to the inner workings of the LFR and the station during the tour.
